1994年，卡凌彤与她的丈夫离婚，随即迁居里诺市（美国有名的“离婚城市”，在内华达州西部，凡欲离婚者，只须在该市住满三个月，即可离婚）的脱衣舞俱乐部工作。最终，她被颐和时代制片厂（Leisure Time Productions）的马可卡里尔（Mark Carriere）注意上，并开始了频繁的约会。
卡凌彤最终进入了爱情动作片制作行业，据说当时是受到了Jenna Jameson的极大鼓励。卡凌彤真正地正式作为职业参与到拍摄是在她26岁的时候。她立即在这个行当里获得了重生，卡凌彤几乎尝试了所有的拍摄题材，并获得了巨大的声誉。在所有的题材中，最受欢迎的还是后庭片以及颜汁片。
